01. Be aware of Height & Width of the Vehicle
The rented vehicle's height and width may be different from a car you drive everyday, Please be careful until you get to the new height and width of the vehicle.
02. Keep the Speed limit
Be careful with overspeed. It will cause serious accident.
Typical speed limits are 80km/h to 100km/h on expressways and 30km/h to 60km/h on local roads.
It is extremely dangerous to change lanes abruptly.
When you change lanes, make sure to give the signal and check your rear view mirror.
03. Take a break for Safe and comfortable driving
Driving while drowsy can cause a severe traffic accident.
To avoid traffic accident caused by drowsy driving, please take a break at the designated rest areas.
It is also recommend to plan your time schedule considering the traffic congestion.
04. Safety seats for children
Children under 6 years old must be seated in child seats.
This rule is strictly required by the law.
05. No cell phone while driving
Using cell phone while driving is very dangerous and strictly forbidden by the laws.
Please park your vehicle at the safe place and use the cell phone.
06. Park only in permitted area
Illegal parking is strictly prohibited in Japan and it will impose you a fine.
You will be asked to pay the fine with illegal parking.
Be sure that you park your car only in permitted area.

There are three different fuel types at the gas station.
·Regular unleaded (red lever)
·High-octane (yellow lever)
·Diesel (green lever)
If you use self service gas station, Regular unleaded(red/レギュラー) is commonly used. Find the red lever.
Present documents receipt received from the police when you return the car. The amount of a fine for illegal parking is approximately 15,000 yen.
If you fail to pay the penalty before you return the car, we will charge you an illegal parking fee of 25,000 yen for ordinary-sized cars and 30,000 yen for medium-and large-sized cars designated by our company.
The driver has full responsibility for all illegal parking.
We are not responsible for any disadvantage to the driver, caused by failing to pay the penalty.
If you use full service gas station,
you can ask the attendant to
fill up the gas.
